Job Summary
The Global Director of Brand Strategy will be responsible for elevating the company’s brand to the top brand position worldwide within its category and among the leading consumer brands outside the category.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Revitalize and maintain the brand strategy for established brands and create brand strategies for emerging and newer product categories.
- Work closely with marketing leaders of the global business units and advertising agencies to develop campaigns that reinforce the brand strategy.
- Manage consumer and B2B product categories with global scope, including U.S, U.K., key European countries, and emerging markets including China and India.
- Collaborate with online division to ensure that brand standards are reflected on the company’s website and with all interactive strategies.
- Manage/develop a team and provide thought leadership and training to marketing professionals throughout the organization.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Experience
- Ten or more years experience in marketing/brand management with industry leading brands.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and communications skills.
- Proven success in brand strategy and advertising development.
- Passion for creating leadership brands.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a large organization with internal teams as well as outside suppliers and partners.
- Experience and comfort level with multiple cultures
- Ability to travel internationally every 6-8 weeks
- MBA preferred
