Job Summary
The Market Research Manager will work with the marketing team to bring consumer insights into the marketing decision-making process. They will manage research projects involving brand positioning, channel strategy, and competitive positioning.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Define and manage market research projects that align with the business objectives of the marketing team.
- Identify creative research approaches that result in genuine insights for the business.
- Analyze, synthesize, and communicate research results to key stakeholders in a compelling, lively, and informative way.
- Manage relationships with outside research vendors.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Experience
- MBA preferred; Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, psychology, statistics, or related field required.
- Eight or more years experience in a marketing research role involving brand strategy development, channel insights (shopper research), and market landscape/competitive research.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Project management experience
- Experience working in a matrix organization
- Effective communication skills – written and oral
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- 2nd or 3rd foreign language preferred
- No restrictions/disqualifications for international travel
