CLIENT SUMMARY:  Cincinnati based Chemical facility with an operating plant in Charlotte, N.C. The N. C.  Plant manufactures resins for the textile industry and foam control products. The Plant currently operates a three shift five day a week operation. Total employment is 40 people.

JOB SUMMARY:  This very "hands on" engineering position reports to the Plant Manager. There are no direct reports other than outside contractors on a project basis.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in implementation and installation of equipment and processes

2. Sponsor and execute capital projects from engineering through start-up

3. Trouble shoot and implement solutions for production and quality issues

4. Responsible for HS&E requirements and compliance

5. Oversee all the other state, local and federal Regulatory programs for the site

IDEAL CANDIDATES’ QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing process environment. There is a preference for chemical manufacturing experience. This person also needs to have a working knowledge of Health Safety & Environmental regulatory policies.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:  Ideally, we are looking for someone who lives in the Charlotte area. We will, though, consider a candidate who rents and is willing to move.
