Job Summary:
The Data Consultant is responsible for:

Directing the initial implementation of Microsoft Windows based energy tracking software that provides a baseline for the energy usage and costs, for measuring the future success of the company’s energy management program after it is implemented within a school district.

The Data Consultant will also assure the proper loading of the databases, assuring accurate data will be used as an historical benchmark for the district’s energy management program.

Managing the ongoing “data” relationship with client districts, serving as the company’s primary point of contact for technology, including the proper use of software and proper data input.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Initial Implementation: Install the energy accounting software and direct the input of the district’s energy data. Educate the school district’s Energy Manager of the proper usage of the software and the data it requires. Oversee the complete loading of the databases ensuring that accurate data will be used as benchmarks and baseline.
Ongoing Relationship: Serve as the primary technology point of contact to assigned school districts through one or two visits per month. Responsible for visiting school districts, Monday through Friday, during a 6 to 9 month program startup. Promote client relationship with the district’s senior leadership.
Coach and develop the district energy manager’s competency by:

Proper use of the software.

Regular audits of data for accuracy and appropriateness.

Generating reports and PowerPoint presentations for updating the school board and others on progress of the energy management program.

Generally implementing the Energy Management Program.

Recommend to company leadership improvements in the company’s programs and products.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

Desktop PC skills, including competence with Microsoft Office Suite.

Sound technical background.

Understanding of measurement and verification processes.

Able to work closely with engineering consultants.
