Job Summary:
Responsible for quality process development, QMS documentation for ISO-901, quality project planning, continuous reduction in cost of quality by using LEAN / Six Sigma tools and team development.
Key Job Responsibilities:

Evaluate manufacturing problems, product problems, and field complaints to determine trends as opportunities for improving manufacturing and product performance.

A key leader of Lean implementation in manufacturing, including 5S, VSM and Kaizen Bursts.

Develop and implement the QMS documentation to meet the ISO-9001 standard and lead the Internal Audit Team.

Coordinate, organize and conduct supplier qualification, quality and process control audits.

Identify and analyze deviations from established company quality systems and ensure corrective action is implemented. Coordinate and lead the Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement efforts.

Take ownership for the continuous reduction in Cost of Quality by using lean/six sigma tools of mistake proofing and root cause analysis.

Promote continuous improvement through coaching, facilitating and training in the use of quality tools such as SPC and Six Sigma.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors degree in engineering, quality, or equivalent preferred.

Minimum 5 years in Manufacturing Quality.

Demonstrated success and experience in ISO 9000 and lean manufacturing experience.

Proactive Supplier Quality Process development and implementation.

Extensive experience in statistical analysis and use of quality improvement tools; working knowledge in SPC, control plans and other Six Sigma tools.

Project planning skills, negotiation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Ability to create and deliver visual presentations, along with proficiency of all MS Office Suite software.

Business/Managerial – Excellent customer relationship management skills to facilitate the exchange of technical information. Excellent accountability and integrity to manage projects required.

Behavioral - Strong team development, collaborative, pro active and flexible, logical in problem solving and troubleshooting, ability to work effectively with customers (internal/external).

Six Sigma green belt preferred. A Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus.

LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS
None required. ISO 9000 internal auditing experience a plus.
