Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for an eight (8) state Midwestern territory and will call on current customers and new prospects.The Sales Engineer will sometimes team with distributors and will always work with other company sales team members. The Sales Engineer will be expected to follow a professional sales process from initial contact through the estimating and quoting phases to order entry and post sale follow up.
Key Job Responsibilities:

Sell to active,inactive and new accounts.

Develop and manage the dealer/rep marketing channel.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer end user operations.

Generate correspondence,quotations,order entry and follow up reports.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

MUST have an engineering or technical degree.

Must be able to demonstrate successful sales skills.

Willing to travel 40%.

Prefer a minimum of five years sales experience of industrial capital equipment.

Must be in commutable distance - 30 miles from Cincinnati.

No relocation assistance.
Additional Comments:
The company provides a company car, laptop, cell phone and covers all travel expenses. Due to the long sales cycle for this capital equipment, the company may provide a guaranteed commission for the first year while the Sales Engineer is ramping up.
