Key Job Responsibilities:
Co-site Engineering Functions
- Will serve as the lead technical representative on proposals.
- Develop and document conceptual co-site system designs.
- Will lead multi-disciplinary development team.
- Develop and document detailed co-site system design.
- Assist in the product’s transition to production and repair as required.
- Support external customer questions and testing.
- Present to external customers.
- Design for EMI/EMC and thermal impacts.
- Validate new designs for specification compliance.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Experience:
- BSEE from an ABET accredited four-year college or university and 6+ years of relevant experience or MSEE from an accredited college or university and 3+ years of relevant experience. Experience with military standards and specifications required.
- Experience with military electro-mechanical designs highly desired.
- Experience designing co-site mitigation equipment and/or radio equipment.
- Demonstrated project leadership ability.
- Experience using Genesys RF simulation software or similar highly desired.
- Experience using MathCAD software.
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
- Must be able to effectively and efficiently communicate with other departments, including manufacturing, engineering and management.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with the customer (both internal and external), both in verbal and written formats.
