Job Summary:
As an Account Manager, you will have responsibility for managing the North American business for one of the Company's largest global accounts, including allied suppliers. In addition, you will participate and represent NA needs/input on the global customer team to develop strategic plans and coordination between regions.
Key Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and implementing account / project strategy, establishing priorities, and coordinating resources to achieve account goals and objectives within region for current business and long term initiatives

Primary contact for all day-to-day operations related to NA business

Understanding of customer’s needs and translation of these needs to management, the global team, customer service, supply chain and technical resources

Create relationship breadth and depth within the technical, commercial and business groups of the account

Identify and pursue business opportunities with the global customer and allied suppliers beyond current business
Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of a Bachelors degree in a technical or scientific field of study.

An understanding of fundamentals of the chemical industry and / or the disposable hygiene industry preferred

Minimum 5 years demonstrated successful experience managing a global customer account(s)

Ability to manage complex customer relationships, interact at multiple levels, and ensure continuity of understanding across multiple diverse contacts

Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously

Creative problem solving skills

Proven ability to work successfully within a matrixed team environment

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
